The BABC LA in the World's Press

Over the past decade the British American Business Council Los Angeles has significantly raised its profile — recognised today as far more than a regional trade body, but as a globally renowned brand. Through major events, partnerships, campaigns and collaborations, the BABC LA is now well known within business circles worldwide.

While much of that recognition has come by word of mouth in commercial circles, our public awareness has been built through significant coverage across every form of media. The BABC LA has featured on some of the most-consumed news outlets on the planet, covering many of our special events and celebrations.

That wealth of content has been generated through award shows celebrating impactful business brands — alongside seminars, British Royal Family milestones, promotional business mixers and our long-running annual Christmas Lunch.

Our honourees, speakers and guests, with business and philanthropic links, have included Lord Julian Fellowes, Jane Seymour OBE, Tony Robbins, Ross King MBE, former Disney chairman Andy Bird, Paul Oakenfold, Malcolm McDowell, Sir Stephen Fry, Baroness Poppy Gustafsson CBE, Sir Lindsay Hoyle MP, Peter Asher, Dame Zandra Rhodes and The Duke of Sussex.

The key messaging of the BABC LA's work and focus is reported in nearly all the content produced by mainstream media. Significant photographic coverage by our media partners and in-house team has carried sponsors' details and logos to audiences across the world.

Our coverage has appeared in business-centric reports and general news files in major media brands read by millions daily. The BABC LA has featured in editorial commentary across "top tier" international media brands, business news sites, Hollywood industry titles and some of the top 30 most-read digital outlets in the world. It is a recognised industry standard that earned editorial is valued at three times the cost of advertising.
