Golden Anniversary Celebration Christmas Party!

Our milestone 50th Annual Christmas Celebration in Grand British Tradition
is set for Friday, December 4th at the Beverly Hilton Hotel
With Special Guest Speaker NBA All-Star Gary Payton!



We are pleased to announce that Gary Payton will be the honored Speaker at our Golden Anniversary Christmas Luncheon. Payton played for the Seattle SuperSonics (1990-2003), Milwaukee Bucks (2003), Los Angeles Lakers (2003-2004), Boston Celtics (2004-2005) and Miami Heat (2005-2007). He is the only point guard to ever win the NBA Defensive Player of the Year award. Payton is widely considered one of the greatest of all time at that position. He was selected to the NBA All-Defensive Team nine times, an NBA record he shares with Michael Jordan. He was a member of the gold medal-winning 1996 and 2000 US Men’s Olympic Basketball Teams. Currently, Payton is a studio analyst for NBA TV and TNT and is involved in many charitable activities including the Gary Payton Foundation which grants and supports community events that build opportunities in education, recreation, and overall wellness for at-risk youth.

This festive event features traditional British holiday fare and has become a celebrated favorite with our members and guests alike. Each year our Christmas Party draws over 600 people, including celebrities; prominent leaders from high profile business, aerospace, manufacturing, legal and entertainment companies; local political figures and many distinguished guests of the British and European Consulates.

The festivities begin at 11:30 am with a hosted Champagne Reception and Silent Auction, which features a wide variety of items and fantastic vacations, both domestic and abroad. The traditional sit-down Christmas Luncheon, complete with all the trimmings, begins at 12:30 pm and is accompanied by entertainment. There will also be a Grand Raffle.
